Have you ever slept through your alarm, been rushed out the door and forced to face the day with a matter of moments? Have you noticed days like these usually have a snowball effect and it goes from bad to worse? It’s not a concidence these days tend to spiral downhill. Let me share with you my personal remedies to a crafting a morning filled with intention that will lead to a productive, creative day.

Every person is unique and each practise may resonate with you more than others. I’m going to list a few of my morning routine must-have’s. Each new day is different and you will need different practises depending on how you feel. I’m going to list a few practises that will help ease into your day feeling like the best version off yourself.

Depending on what you need for example, self reflection (journalling), uplift your mood (gratitudes), confidence (mantras), tense (yoga/stretching), energy (walk), destress (plan your day), stillness (meditation). These practises are one’s I’ve enstilled in my life because they optimise my energy and well-being, allowing me to get the most out of the day in a beautiful, creative and productive way.

A powerful practise I like to start most mornings with is gratitude journaling. This over time will shift your mindset drastically and make you realise the important things in life and fill your heart up with appreciation for them. Attracting more of these beautiful things in turn.

Hitting the mat for some yoga and meditation is a way to bring yourself back into my body and reconnect with my inner being. This will not only make you feel amazing but it allows you to move throughout my day with ease and handle situations in calmer manner.

Doing all these practises at once can seem daunting. By adding a new one every time you feel ready you will slowly start adding to your morning routine. Realising how good you feel and how much more you can get out of the day.

With love,
Lauren. xx
